For the launch of Anker SOLIX F3800, we produced three short videos around a very specific local insight: for households in Texas or other hurricane-prone states, a power outage can look very different depending on the extreme weather behind it.

We exaggerated those familiar frustrations into three playful scenarios: unbearable heat, a freezing snowstorm and a hurricane, before contrasting them with the calm, uninterrupted experience of having backup power ready.

The production challenge was to make those distinctly American environments feel convincing without filming in the US. With limited time and budget, we recreated extreme-weather Texas on practical sets in Guangzhou, using lighting, props and production design for the live-action scenes, then extending the world through CGI and VFX to build snow-covered and hurricane-hit neighborhoods from real location plates.

The result was a localized product launch campaign that turned a serious energy problem into three memorable, entertaining stories, while proving that an overseas setting doesn’t always require an overseas shoot.
