Morpho UV Printer Kickstarter Video

Following our 2025 Kickstarter campaign film for the Snapmaker U1 Color 3D Printer, which went on to raise $20.6M, we partnered with Morpho to create the complete campaign asset suite for its desktop UV printer, from the teaser and hero film to all still and graphic assets.

Founded by Brett Wang, former VP of R&D at DJI and founder of DJI’s camera division, Morpho brings deep engineering expertise into a new generation of creative tools for makers.

For the campaign film, we built the story around two creators (starring Jason Dane and Palina Liaonchanka): an illustrator and a maker, each exploring the Morpho printer through their own creative process. One sets out to create an original tabletop game, while the other turns her illustrations into a collection of physical objects.

Tabletop gaming is already deeply rooted in Kickstarter culture, making it a natural creative framework for demonstrating the printer’s versatility. A single game involves cards, boards, tokens, packaging and objects of different shapes, materials and finishes, allowing a wide range of product features to emerge organically through the making process rather than as a conventional feature-by-feature demonstration.

With a highly compressed production schedule, Morpho’s creator partners were unable to join the shoot, so we worked with cast talent and developed the two characters beyond simple product demonstrators. Distinct personalities, creative motivations and a light touch of humor gave the film its own rhythm, while every interaction with the printer was designed to naturally reveal what the product could do.

The result is a product film driven not simply by features, but by the possibilities those features unlock.
